Mr Price just launched several standalone baby stores across the country, offering customers a variety of essentials for babies, toddlers, and kids up to seven years old.

The retailer’s latest addition will offer customers a wide range of products across changing, personal care, bath, travel, drinking, sleep, feeding, play, and clothing.

“As you would expect from Mr Price, the new concept will differentiate from competitors through its famous fashion-value formula,” said managing director of Mr Price Donovan Baney

“Further differentiators include an in-store shopping experience that is tailored to the baby and toddler shopper as a one stop destination, and a digital platform with the same features that has made Mr Price the most visited South African fashion retailer.”

Major brands in the store include Pampers, Huggies, Purity, NAN, NUK, Avent, Milton, and Joie.

Across these brands and the original Mr Price brand, customers will have the option to shop for everyday baby items such as nappies, prams, baby formula, milk bottles, pacifiers, car seats, toys, baby food, and bibs.

Mr Price initially launched baby clothing in its store in November 2020.

It has since pivoted to the standalone Mr Price Baby stores, which are now in Eastgate Shopping Centre, Menlyn Shopping Centre, Mitchells Plain Promenade Mall, Carnival Mall, Parow Centre, and Pine Crest Centre.

A selection of baby items are also available at Mr Price Kids stores at Carlton Centre, Mall of Africa, and Midlands Mall. This also includes Mr Price Stores in Benoni Lakeside Mall, Cavendish, Fourways Mall, Golden Walk Shopping Centre, and Nelspruit Riverside Mall.

There will also be a kiosk available at select stores allowing customers to shop online with the option of door-to-door delivery or click & collect at their nearest store or create a baby gift registry.

Online shoppers will, however, have to wait until the full assortment is available on the Mr Price website and the Mr Price app.
